We Passed!

Adam and I are officially ready for child birth! We passed our Child Birth Education Class @ South Shore Hospital :) Both of us really enjoyed the experience, and Adam was able to keep his immaturity to a minimum. We learned some new things and met some great couples (it was definitely funny being in a room with 15 other pregnant woman, everywhere you looked there were prego bellies!) The instructors were maternity nurses and were just so sweet and knowledgeable that it just gives you a confidence boost that "you can do it!" when the time comes.

I'm 34 weeks today - 6 weeks to go! Feeling good, but definitely getting more ready to hold this baby in my arms rather than in my belly! He's continued to say super active so I hope that's a sign that he'll be very willing to come out when the time comes. Here is a picture of me at 34 weeks....at this point we're growing bigger by the second I think! :)

26 weeks along and counting...

I thought I'd make some posts as we prepare for the little guy's arrival. I think it will be fun to look back and remember the pregnancy moments since I have a feeling once he gets here, there won't be much time for anything else!! haha I have to say I've been really blessed to have a pretty enjoyable pregnancy thus far (I'm praying that it continues to go well through my 3rd trimester) We found out we were having a BOY on December 1st and have been busy registering, decorating and shopping ever since! We're still working on names. We're finding that boy names aren't as easy as girl names are, and many people seem to share the same feeling on that. We've narrowed it down to a smaller list and both feel that it might be a 'game time' decision once we meet our baby boy. We have been busy this past week working on the nursery. My parents (thank you again!) painted his room, Adam and my dad put up the border and then we had new carpet installed. After that Adam and I worked hard to assemble the crib and changing table (thanks to my in-laws for their thoughtful contribution) and Adam surprised me by having the glider put together! We are SO happy with the way everything looks and now are looking forward to adding the finishing touch, a healthy baby boy!
